Bobby L. Raber, DMD – Chief Dental KidZologist
A native of California, Dr. Raber spent his formative years attending the “school of hard labor”. While in high school “Dr. Bob” spent his summer “vacations” working as many as 60 hours per week as a farmer, welder and dairyman. No slouch in the classroom, Dr. Raber also maintained a 4.0 grade point average and graduated as the valedictorian of his high school class.
After completing his first year of college at Brigham Young University (BYU), Dr. Bob took a sabbatical (leave of absence) to fulfill his two year missionary service commitment living and serving in Taiwan. Dr. Raber became fluent in Mandarin Chinese and learned a great deal about Chinese history and culture. Dr. Bob married his high school sweetheart, Elizabeth, upon the completion of his mission and went on to complete his undergraduate studies at BYU earning a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology.
Dr. Bob went on to attend Dental School at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. During his time at NSU, Dr. Raber received the Clinical Performance Award for achieving the highest clinical grade average. He also served two years as the Medical Mission Coordinator to Jamaica providing dental care and treatment for needy children.
Dr. Raber completed his pediatric residency at the prestigious Temple Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia. While at Temple, Dr. Bob received the Outstanding Resident Award given to the doctor that does the most to give back to the hospital and its patients.
After graduation, Dr. and Mrs. Raber moved to Arizona in 2006 where Dr. Bob began his pediatric dental practice at KidZaam Dentistry. One year later Dr. Bob became the first official KidZaam Dentistry Franchisee purchasing the Prescott and Prescott Valley KidZaam Klubhouses in September of 2007.
Dr. Bob and Beth live in Prescott and are the proud parents of Geneva, Daniel, Luke and Olivia.
Brian Bishop, DMD - Dental KidZologist
A native of Rockland, Maine, Dr. Bishop attended Temple University School of Dentistry and completed his pediatric dental residency at Temple University Hospital. While at Temple, Dr. Bishop was a member of the Hispanic Dental Association serving as its Vice President in 2003-2004. He was also a member of the Temple University Pediatric Dental Health Club during that time.
Dr. Bishop met his wife, Anna, a registered nurse in cardiac critical care, while bike riding along the Schulykill River in Philidelphia. They were married on February 24th, 2008. Both Anna and Dr. Bishop have traveled the world on medical and dental missions having been to such places as Asia, Africa, Central and South America. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Bishop plans on travelling to El Salvador and India in the near future.
Dr. Bishop and Anna moved to the quad-city area in late July of 2008. Dr. Bishop began his practice at KidZaam’s Prescott and Prescott Valley Klubhouses on August 1st of 2008. Anna accepted a position as a school nurse with the Prescott public school system. With the Prescott school year now complete, Anna has recently begun a new position as an RN with Yavapai Regional Medical Center.
An accomplished musician and singer, Dr. Bishop is known to play at local establishments in and around the quad-city area oftentimes partnering with Dr. Raber’s brother, Lance Raber.
As the owners of two Great Pyrenees dogs, Ice and Sky, Dr. Bishop and Anna live in Prescott and love spending time in the great outdoors. They enjoy hiking, cycling, and kayaking.
David Ho, DDS MS - Dental KidZologist
Born in Taiwan, Dr. David Ho moved to Canada at the age of 15. After graduating from high school summa cum laude, “Dr. David” attended the University of Toronto where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology. He also completed an associate’s degree in Dental Technology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
Dr. David’s father was a general dentist. As a child Dr. David looked up to his Dad and knew by the age of six that he wanted to follow in father’s footsteps and become a dentist. Dr. David began the pursuit of that dream when he learned of his acceptance to the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.
While attending dental school Dr. David accepted a position with Dr. Gail Molinari, a Michigan pediatric dentist, as a dental assistant. Balancing a busy work and school schedule, Dr. David excelled at dental school and graduated in the top 1% of his class. It was also during this time that Dr. Molinari mentored Dr. David to pursue a career in pediatric dentistry.
Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. David completed his general practice residency at the Medical University of Ohio followed by his acceptance into the University of Toledo Medical Center’s Pediatric Dental Residency program.
Dr. David graduated from the University of Toledo Medical Center’s Pediatric Dental Residency program in June 2009. He also received his master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences (Oral Biology).
Dr. David met his wife, Amy, while attending dental school. They married in October of 2007. A native of Michigan, Amy has earned a bachelor’s degree in both Speech Pathology and Dental Hygiene. Dr. David and Amy enjoy travelling and are looking forward to taking ballroom and salsa dance lessons.
Dr. David and Amy moved to the quad-city area in early July of 2009. Dr. Ho began his practice at KidZaam’s Prescott and Prescott Valley Klubhouses on Tuesday, July 14th, 2009.
