Frequently Asked Questions
When should my child come in for their first appointment?
Our KidZologists typically recommend that parents schedule a first visit when one of two things happens: 1) the first baby tooth pokes through the gums or 2) the child reaches their first birthday. This is a good time for us to provide a very quick and gentle inspection to ensure their development is going smoothly and help them get used to the whimsical sights and sounds of our Klubhouses!
Are digital X-rays really safe? I’m worried about radiation.
We understand your fears, but rest assured – digital X-rays are extremely safe and invaluable when it comes to detecting much more dangerous dental concerns in your child’s growing smile. In fact, this state-of-the-art technology reduces radiation exposure by up to 90% when compared with traditional film X-rays!
Do you see dental emergencies?
Yes! We will see children in pain or suffering from a dental injury as soon as we possibly can at any of our Klubhouses in Prescott, Prescott Valley, or Cottonwood, AZ. Contact us today for assistance!
My child isn’t able to sit still for very long. Can you still treat them?
Of course! Many parents are surprised to see just how well their child behaves when they’re in an environment that’s perfectly suited towards their interests. Our Klubhouses are filled with plenty of fun touches to keep young patients interested, and our KidZologists and agents are all very experienced and well-equipped to manage their unique needs. However, if your child is still unable to receive certain procedures under their own power, several sedation dentistry techniques are available to help put them at ease and create a smoother, safer experience for them.
My child has a disability/special needs condition. Can they visit your practice?
Certainly. Every child is warmly welcomed, and our Klubhouses are designed to accommodate these conditions with ease. Special needs children may even be excited to find that one of our KidZaam Kommandos – Limf – has something in common with them!
Do you take insurance?
We accept a wide variety of major insurance plans, and our agents are even happy to work with parents who don’t currently have insurance. To learn more, please visit our new patients page.
